Why are we still the only ones of our kind?

Oh well... that aside, is that monster illness over with? There are some things I'd like to go out and do, but I don't feel like risking injury to myself at the time.

Your world much be much more advanced than ours. The last I remember, our computers were only 8-bit, and certainly not capable powering anything as advanced as yourself. Where I come from, you're only the subject of science fiction novels and movies....

So how advanced are you? Are you capable of smooth movement, like a human's body is? And how fast can you think?

We're fully capable of thinking, emotions, and the like.

I think only the lower grade reploids, and basic droids have the audible gears that grind.... and hydraulics and what not.

Funny you should ask about the thinking part though, the chip is interfering with some basic programs...

I find myself asking a lot of questions lately.

Ah, the chip. I've noticed that both defensive and offensive are offline. I'm afraid that Automatic Repair Systems would be defunct as well... which is why I'm more cautious than normal.

... That would be incredibly disconcerting to me, if I were you. Did you even know any basic martial arts before?

It's like... something like... won't harm a human, won't... something something, I dunno, it's not too important to me. I mean it should be... but it's not on my high priority list.


... I know a few basic martial arts... though I find it a little awkward to do, being so tall... perhaps there's something else I could do in defense until this chip is removed...

Haha, I don't remember anything like that at all, so don't worry about it! Although it would be awful if you couldn't defend yourself from a human that was attempting to hurt or kill you. That just doesn't seem right...

Hmm. Maybe knives or the like? Are you used to long range or close-up combat?
