So I got to thinking, shock and amaze I know. The word "team" has that saying... of something like... "There is no 'I' in team."

However, there is a 'me'.

That aside, forgive me if I'm wrong, but a team is usually a group of individuals performing together to complete a task. If this is true... how is it a functional team if some of those individuals are lazy and don't put in their fair share of work?

Is it really considered a "team"?

They are the weak links and they are generally pruned.

A team works by putting their strengths together in order to perform together and complete the task. A person can be lazy if they can preform their strength when it's needed to. Usually when it comes down to having to perform an important task, the team snaps out of being 'lazy', and work their hardest. And if not... then the lazy one is usually scolded.

It can still be considered a team, just as long as those who are being lazy still give it their all when the time comes.

Hm... teams get in the way.

Simple, we make up for each others flaw, and encourage each other to keep going. My brothers and I are a team, so being related can make it tough, as well as easy.
